Certificate IV in Property Services (Operations) Smart & Skilled

Smart and Skilled is a reform of the NSW Vocational Education and Training (VET) system. It’s helping people in NSW get the skills they need to find a job and advance their careers. This training is subsidised by the NSW Government.

A prospective student of the Smart and Skilled program should meet the following criteria:
  • 15 years old or over
  • no longer at school
  • living or working in NSW
  • an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, Australian permanent humanitarian visa holder or New Zealand citizen
The CPP40611 - Certificate IV in Property Services (Operations) qualification, is the current educational requirement needed to be able to make application to NSW Fair Trading for the NSW Strata Managing Agent’slicence.

The Certificate IV in Property Services (Operations) qualification is made up of 21 Nationally Recognised Units of Competency, that the Australian College of Professionals has bundled into 5 training modules for people to undertake an in-depth study of the entire strata managing process.

You may be assessed for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Recognition of Current Competence (RCC) for one or more of the modules within the strata
licence training program. This means you will not need to attend training for that module. Assessment is undertaken on an individual basis and determination of RPL or RCC is based on third party evidence of your previous learning and work experience.

The successful completion of this full training program will mean that the person gains the award of a Certificate IV in Property Services (Operations).
