NSW Business Agents Licence

CPP40507 Certificate IV in Property Services (Business Broking)

Business Agents Licence

The Australian College of Professionals conducts a full business agents licence program for people to undertake an in-depth study of the entire business broking process. This is a practical-based course and provides course participants with opportunities to acquire and practice new skills in all areas relating to business broking.

You may be assessed for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Recognition of Current Competence (RCC) for one or more modules. This means that you will not need to attend training for that module. Assessment is undertaken on an individual basis and determination of RPL or RCC is based on the evidence of your previous experience and learning.

The five modules that are compulsory for this particular business agents licence are:

  • Certificate of Registration
  • Trust Accounting
  • Business Broking Agency Practices
  • Financial Management
  • Staff Management
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

If you believe that you have the skills, knowledge and competence in any of the module areas, then you can discuss this with an Assessor at the College who can provide you with an Evidence Guide that gives you the details of the types of evidence that you need to provide for the Units of Competency for which you intend to apply for RPL.
