Financial Planning Courses

RG146 Accreditation (new entrants)

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) has set minimum requirements for the training of financial product advisors to give them a set of knowledge and skills appropriate to their activities and the financial products they work with.  Anyone who provides financial product advice to retail clients must meet these minimum training standards by satisfactorily completing a training course provided by an authorised assessor that is listed on the ASIC Training Register.

The Australian College of Professionals is an authorised provider and assessor of these training courses and offers the Tier 1 RG146 Accreditation course for advisors working in the areas of Insurance, Superannuation and Managed Investments.

This course incorporates all of the minimum competencies to achieve the Tier 1 RG146 qualification. In order to achieve RG146 accreditation, students must complete both Core Modules 1 & 2 plus any one Elective Module.
