Certificate IV in Property Services

(Business Broking)

Course Overview:

This course is for people who wish to gain the qualification to apply for their Business Agent Licence in NSW and students who wish to undertake an in-depth study of the entire business broking process. This is a practical-based course and provides course participants with opportunities to acquire and practice new skills in all areas relating to business broking. Once all modules have been completed, students will be able to apply to NSW Fair Trading for their Business Agent licence.

There are five modules/courses which make up the Business Broking Licence program and cover the competencies required to gain a full Business Agent Licence. The successful completion of this full training program will mean that the person gains the award of a Certificate IV in Property Services (Business Broking). The courses listed here are based on the premise that you have not already completed the introductory Certificate of Registration course.

NB: If you already hold another licence under the Property, Stock and Business Agents Act 2002 through NSW Fair Trading, you may only need to attend the 3 day Business Broking Sales course to be eligible to apply for the Business Agent Licence.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
You may be assessed for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Recognition of Current Competence (RCC) for one or more modules. This means that you will not need to attend training for that module. Assessment is undertaken on an individual basis and determination of RPL or RCC is based on the evidence of your previous experience and learning.

The successful completion of this full training program will mean that the person gains the award of a Certificate IV in Property Services (Business Broking).

Existing property agents who have 2 years or more of sales experience, may be eligible for our 5 day Fast Track Licence program. Please contact us to discuss your eligibility.
